Brownies had another great week with a victory over Clarksburg with a 3 – 2 win.  Although Eugene Condor was defeated by Will Fowler with Will winning 4 – 0.  For the third week in a row Bob Lyons once again defeated one of his opponents Korrey Reese with a 2 – 0 win.

Reality Chek came back from a horrible week and defeated Captain Curley’s with a 4 – 1 victory.  Jim Stiffler was on his game this week and won over Dennis Majercik (Bugger) with a 5 – 0 finish.

After this week of play Brownies is on top with 20 wins.  Tied for second with 19 wins is Clarksburg and Reality Chek.  In fourth place you’ll find Captain Curley’s with 15 wins.  And shortly behind them is Sportsmen Club with 14 wins.  And TJ’s brings up the rear finally getting a total of 3 wins.

Lets give a huge welcome to Brad Stiles who joined the TAP League with Reality Chek.  I hope you enjoy the game as much as the rest of us do.  Welcome aboard Brad!

Also, be sure to keep Ron Peak from Captain Curley’s in your thoughts.  He was not able to make the game last week due to being in the ICU in Pittsburgh with heart complications.

All the teams shot well this week but the week ended with some large victories.  Clarksburg came out on top over Sportsmen Club with a 4 – 1 win.

Captain Curley’s had a large upset over TJ’s with a 5 – 0 win.  Wade Rager shot very well for the second week in a row and took his match over Tom Silk with a 2 – 0 victory.  Heather Miller brought her game back this week with a 3 – 0 win over Jerry Cunkleman.  Ron Peak finally got his nerves under control and found himself winning over Chris Uncapher with a 2 – 0 win.  Bugger had a huge victory over Lou Gonzales with a 4 – 0 win.  We’d like to take this time to welcome Lou Gonzales to the Indiana County TAP League.

Brownies had a shocking upset over Reality Chek with a 4 – 1 win.  John Platt for the third week in a row has come out on top with a big victory, this week ending with 3 – 0 win over Tony Chronoski.  Bob Lyons also had another outstanding shooting week with a victory over Nancy Stiffler ending the match with a 2 – 0 win.

Please take the time to remember a good shooter and a great friend, Paul Isaacs, who passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2010.  You will always be remembered and very much missed.

After six weeks this still leaves the teams all very close with only six games between the first and fifth place.  Brownies and Clarksburg both tied for first place with 17 wins, Reality Chek in third place with 15 wins, Captain Curley’s in fourth place with 14 wins, and Sportsmen Club in fifth place win eleven wins and TJ’s still holding with only one win but they still get the “Good Spirit” award.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to Dennis Majercik (Bugger) who lost his father last week.  You may have known him, Tom Majercik.  He was a TAP member and honored shooter in Indiana County a few years ago and he will be deeply missed by all.

A special note from Nancy Stiffler about the TJ’s team….."Wish all our teams including mine had the “Good Spirit” that TJ’s team has.  They all deserve MVP!"

Sportsmen Club gave Reality Chek a hard run but Reality Chek took the night with a 3 – 2 victory.  Tony Chronoski had another great week with a 4 – 0 win over Dave Jefferys.  Andy White had a strong night and took his match against Belinda Betts with a 4 – 0 win.

All the teams are doing great this session and the games are still very close only leaving three games between the first and fifth place teams.  We can’t forget about our team TJ’s, they might be our last place team with only one win thus far in the season but they are by far our most entertaining and they have great sportsmanship.
